St. Mark's presents $44,500 in outreach grants to Southeasat Texas Non-Profits, including Nutrition & Services for Seniors.
Southeast Texas Emergency Relief Fund, which was established after Hurricane Rita in 2005, presented checks totaling $137,000 on Thursday to five area nonprofit organizations during a ceremony at Edgar, Kiker & Cross PC in Beaumont.
The funds will aid in the organizations' ongoing efforts to recover from Tropical Storm Harvey.
Recipients include: Orange Community Action, Southeast Texas Food Bank, Nutrition and Services for Seniors, Gulf Coast Health Center, Inc., and Legacy Community Health.
