Elderly and disabled clients residing in Jefferson and Hardin counties who have unmet needs following Hurricane Harvey may be eligible to receive vital home repairs through our Client Assessment & Home Repair Assistance Program.

Through this program, we provide major & minor home safety repairs and accessibility modifications for eligible senior and disabled clients who have sustained damages to their home as a result of Hurricane Harvey.  Additionally, a Social Worker assesses the mental health of each client who may be struggling after having experienced the turmoil that a natural disaster may cause.  In some cases, referrals may be provided to better assist the client in the recovery process.

Many years ago, the Junior League of Beaumont was instrumental in the development of our AniMeals program that allows us to provide food for the pets of our homebound clients!! Still today, the Junior League supports this cause and helps us to ensure our homebound neighbors are able to continue living independently at home, with their pets right by their side! Thank you again to our friends at the Junior League of Beaumont for everything you do to help us deliver the difference in our community!

Meet the Summer Co-op Group from ExxonMobil! Under the direction of their Volunteer Coordinator, Mark Mazzuco, they spent time out of their weekend volunteering with us bagging food for our AniMeals program, preparing shelf-stable meals, and working in our 'Grow to Share' donation garden pulling weeds, working on our existing beds and building new ones!! Thank you all so much for volunteering your time to help the seniors and disabled adults in our community!
